Christian Steiner
With a deep passion for winter sports and a keen instinct for people, Christian Steiner founded our Obertauern ski school over 30 years ago. As a state-certified ski instructor and trainer with the Salzburg Ski Instructors’ Association, he not only brings years of experience to our team, but also the highest level of professional expertise.
In addition to his work as a ski school director, Christian is also a farmer through and through; his connection to nature shapes his leadership style: down-to-earth, respectful, and compassionate.
Christian embodies the philosophy of the TOP Ski School: He always treats guests and staff as equals, is professional and flexible, and remains authentic at all times. Anyone who knows him knows that he puts people first.
And last but not least, Christian is a true family man. His family is his rock and his greatest source of inspiration, and you can really feel that in the warm, collaborative spirit that sets our ski school in Obertauern apart.

Where is the meeting point for private lessons?
Bitte 5 Minuten vor Kursbeginn im Skischulbüro. Gerne kann auch ein anderer Treffpunkt vereinbart werden.
What equipment do I need?
They need their own equipment. There are numerous sports shops in Obertauern where you can hire your equipment.
Is the ski pass included in the price?
No. We recommend that beginners purchase a points card. You can find more information on ski pass prices at www.ski-obertauern.at.
How do I pay for my ski lessons?
Payment for booked lessons is generally due before the course begins.
When booking online, the amount is paid directly during the booking process.
Alternatively, you can conveniently make the payment in advance through our customer portal.
Of course, you can also pay in person at our ski school office, either in cash or by card.
Until when can I cancel the ski course?
You can cancel your booked ski course free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the course without incurring a cancellation fee.
How early do we have to book a private instructor or a ski course?
The motto here is: the earlier the better!
During the holiday periods, we recommend that you book your ski instructor online in advance on our website. Courses & private lessons can be booked online up to 3 days in advance.
